Personal Protective Equipment – Refresher Training

The Environmental Supervisor and/or the employee’s supervisor train all employees in the proper use of the PPE.

The employee is trained on the following topics:

• When PPE is necessary
• What PPE is necessary
• How to properly don, doff, adjust, and wear PPE
• The limitations of PPE
• The proper care, maintenance, useful life, and disposal of the PPE

Additional training will be provided to all employees should the job environment changes or the required PPE changes.

Refresher training will be provided to those employees who show a lack of understanding of how to properly use the PPE that has been issued to them.
